The 1967 Topps cards were my starting point for baseball card collecting, and I had completed series 1 to 6 in 1967. The 7th series was not sold in my area, but I was able to obtain all but 5 (Seaver, Carew, Robinson, Wills, John) of those cards at card shows in the early 1980s.
In my opinion, this is the best looking series issued by Topps. -- 25-SEP-2009
OOohh cool! Seems odd years are out of fashion...nobody out there's laying claim to '71, '73, '77, '79', and '81.
ReplyDeleteGreat find!
ReplyDeleteSuper. I am torn as to my favorite Topps set of the 1960's. The 64 set is right up there for me personally along with the 63 and 65 sets.

Also enjoy the 1960 set and the...you get the picture. The only sets I did not care for in the 1960s were the 62 and 68 set.
ReplyDeleteAs you all may know, the "Heartbreaking Cards of Staggering Genius" blog frequently posts some 1971 Topps cards.
